Students in the municipalities of Aurland, Årdal, Lærdal and Vik are guaranteed bus transport to and from ViteMeir the next three school years thanks to Sogn Sparebank, which will be a clear ViteMeir -partner

Earlier in May, Sogn Sparebank and ViteMeir representatives from the early childhood sector in Aurland, Lærdal and Vik (Årdal was prevented from attending). Bank CEO Mads Indrehus and Head of Marketing and Communications Ragnhild Skahjem Tofastrud were proud to announce that they are financing a minimum of 35 bus transports for the municipalities.

- Our ambition as a local bank is to contribute to development and growth in Sogn, and we look at ViteMeir as a future-oriented initiative for our region. With this agreement, we provide safe bus transport for our school and kindergarten children, and ensure that all students have the opportunity to visit the center, says bank manager Mads Indrehus.

- We are looking forward to it. ViteMeir opens and we both need and want to know more about most things, says the head of early childhood education in Lærdal municipality, Camilla Grøttebø.

Sogn Sparebank is also financing NOK 250,000 of ViteMeir its installation on consumption and personal finance. This makes the local bank one of the largest partners of the science center.

- It is incredibly important that children and young people have a conscious relationship with the management of their own funds, and we as a local bank take our share of this responsibility, for example by contributing to both the financing and development of this installation, says Head of Marketing and Communications, Ragnhild Skahjem Tofastrud.

- It has been a dream to negotiate with Sogn Sparebank and I look forward to a fruitful collaboration in the coming years. Mads and Ragnhild show strong faith in ViteMeir something that makes me and my team very happy, says CEO Erlend Fardal Lunde.
