Pupils in the municipalities of Aurland, Årdal, Lærdal and Vik are guaranteed bus transport to and from ViteMeir the next three school years thanks to Sogn Sparebank, which will be a clear ViteMeir partner.

Earlier in May, Sogn Sparebank and ViteMeir met with representatives from the education sector in Aurland, Lærdal and Vik (Årdal was prevented from attending). Bank manager Mads Indrehus and head of marketing and communication Ragnhild Skahjem Tofastrud proudly announced that they finance a minimum of 35 bus transports for the municipalities.

- "Our ambition as a local bank is to contribute to development and growth in Sogn, and I see ViteMeir as a forward-looking initiative for our region. With this agreement, we ensure safe bus transport for our school and kindergarten children, and ensure that all students have the opportunity to visit the center," says bank manager Mads Indrehus.

- "We can't wait for ViteMeir to open, and we want to know more about everything," says Camilla Grøttebø, Head of Education in Lærdal Municipality.

In addition, Sogn Sparebank is financing NOK. 250,000 of ViteMeir 's installation on consumption and personal finance. This makes the local bank one of the largest partners of the science center.

- It is incredibly important that children and young people are aware of how to manage their own money, and as a local bank, we take our share of this responsibility by contributing to both the financing and development of this installation," says Ragnhild Skahjem Tofastrud, Head of Marketing and Communications.

- "Negotiating with Sogn Sparebank has been a dream come true and I look forward to a fruitful collaboration in the coming years. Mads and Ragnhild show strong faith in ViteMeir , which pleases me and my team greatly," says Managing Director Erlend Fardal Lunde.
