Food nerd Ingrid is ready for ViteMeir

For Ingrid Husum (39), food is a passion. On August 1st, she will start her position as head of food & beverage at ViteMeir

After a hectic and demanding interview process, Ingrid Husum was hired as Food & Beverage Manager. Ingrid is 39 years old and lives in Sogndalsfjøra with her partner and two children.

- I am very happy that Ingrid will be a part of ViteMeir -family. We want nerds to become rock stars, and as a food nerd, Ingrid can definitely inspire the next generation of chefs, says CEO Erlend Fardal Lunde.

Ingrid has a certificate as a chef and a bachelor's degree in Food Technology. For the past three years, she has been the department manager for Café Sogningen and has been responsible for the conceptual change they have undergone. Previously, Ingrid has extensive experience from Lerum as a quality coordinator. In the last interview round, she had to fight against the clock and serve her proposal for a signature dish for SmakeMeir in 30 minutes.

- As a creative foodie, food and drink have always been a great passion and have been the main focus of my educational and working life. I look forward to seeking new knowledge and inspiration for the establishment and development of SmakeMeir and SmaksLab, says newly hired food nerd Ingrid Husum.
