Food nerd Ingrid ready for ViteMeir
For Ingrid Husum (39), food is a passion. On August 1, she starts in the position as Head of Food & Beverage at ViteMeir
After a hectic and demanding interview process, Ingrid Husum got the job as head of food & beverage. Ingrid is 39 years old and lives in Sogndalsfjøra with her partner and two children.
- "I'm very happy that Ingrid is becoming part of the ViteMeir family. We want nerds to become rock stars, and as a food nerd, Ingrid is guaranteed to inspire the next generation of chefs," says Managing Director Erlend Fardal Lunde.
Ingrid has a certificate as a chef and a bachelor's degree in food technology. For the past three years, she has been department manager at Café Sogningen and has been responsible for the conceptual change they have undergone. Ingrid has extensive experience from Lerum as a quality coordinator. In the last round of interviews, she fought against the clock and served her proposal for a signature dish for SmakeMeir in 30 minutes.
- "As a creative food nerd, food and drink have always been a great passion and the main focus of my education and working life. I'm looking forward to seeking new knowledge and inspiration for the establishment and development of SmakeMeir and SmaksLab," says newly appointed food nerd Ingrid Husum.
- "Ingrid is a real potato in good ViteMeir style and has experience of varied lab work. She has qualities that will enhance the hospitality city SmakeMeir and the SmaksLab communication arena," concludes Lunde.
