Background - what is a science center?
A science center is a popular science experience and learning center. Imagine a mix of a technical museum, a show, a laboratory and an exciting playground. Then you have a small impression of what we are.
Why science center?
The Science Center inspires children and adults to explore and seek new experiences, and collaborates with the Norwegian Education Agency to develop new knowledge that society and business need in the future.
We currently have 13 regional science centers in Norway. ViteMeir Kaupanger is the center for the Sogn og Fjordane region.
