Research Days 2024

We all have health!

It's Research Days, and this year marks the 30th anniversary of Research Days. It is being marked with a theme that engages everyone, namely health. During the Research Council of Norway's national research festival, events will be held around the country to ensure that people get to meet researchers. It will be fun, surprising, social and educational. Bring your friends and family. They will be welcome!

Program

Friday, September 20 - daytime

10-12: free lecture with Rapid Mental Health Care and Frisklivsentralen: "Balansekunst - korleis ivareta sig sjølv i ein hektisk kvardag".

The event is open to everyone from 10th grade upwards.

Friday, September 20 - evening time

19:00-23:00

This evening we offer a quiz with health as the common thread, and between rounds you get to experience a knowledge relay with short, exciting presentations on various health-related topics, from the health center, the county council, HVL, Luster municipality, Vestlandsforsking and of course ViteMeir. We promise aha experiences!

It will be possible to buy both food and something good by the glass throughout the evening.

Doors open at 18.30.

Quiz starts at 19.00.

Science relay at 19:45.

Second round of quiz after the science relay.

Price: 100 kr per person

Maximum eight people per quiz team. It is possible to join the knowledge relay without joining the quiz for those who wish.

Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22

10:00-17:00

• Restaurant og matfag ved Sogndal vgs lagar mat saman med deg i SmaksLaben (kl. 11, 12, 13 og 14)

• Test your blood type

• Measure your heart rate before and after completing an obstacle course

• Try the game "Save your neighbor!" in VR

• Rask psykisk helsehjelp vil demonstrere bruk av VR i behandling av angst (berre laurdag, kl. 10-14)

Sogn Sparebank sponsors free admission to the center on both Saturday and Sunday.
