De Heiberske Samlinger Sogn Folkemuseum and ViteMeir enter into professional collaboration on learning opportunities for children and young people
We will work together to provide children and young people with learning opportunities on academic topics in a past and present perspective.
- This letter of intent lays the foundation for further collaboration on activating kindergarten children, pupils and students through joint learning opportunities linked to the REINT profile at ViteMeir. The REINT profile outlines the focus areas of Resources-Energy-Development-Nature-Technologythat ViteMeir has selected as academic themes at the center. "It's interesting for us to look at the possibilities for creating joint learning programs that look at the topics from both a past and a contemporary perspective.
says project manager for ViteMeir, Marianne Jevnaker. "Among other things, this can create reflection among the next generation on how we got to where we are today in terms of technological development.
ViteMeir and De Heibergske Samlinger Sogn Folkemuseum have several ideas for how they want to work further with this.
- "We already have good cooperation with schools and kindergartens," says Aud Ross Solberg, Director of De Heibergske Samlinger Sogn Folkemuseum.
"In collaboration with ViteMeir , we can now look at how we can vary the already established offerings we have for this target group, or create completely new offerings together," she adds.
ViteMeir look forward to an exciting and educational collaboration with De Heibergske Samlinger Sogn Folkemuseum in the time leading up to the opening!
