ViteMeir looking for a communication hero

Are you our creative and versatile supermediator?
Me on ViteMeir is looking for a committed and versatile facilitator who offers himself. You can use creativity and professional knowledge to inspire and create curiosity and a desire to learn in both children and young people. As a facilitator, you will use enthusiasm, energy and drive to make science come alive for our guests. If you are like the potato – equally useful for everything from science shows to classroom visits – then you may be exactly what we are looking for!

Form of addition:

Permanent position. Start by agreement, no later than July 1, 2025

Work tasks:

Your daily work will be varied and full of exciting challenges. As a facilitator, you will be involved in welcoming and communicating with various groups, ranging from kindergartens to high schools and leisure guests. In addition, you will be involved in:

  • Develop and implement practical learning programs and teacher training courses

  • Visit schools through "ViteMeir on wheels"

  • Participate in various project collaborations

  • Plan and implement activities and science shows that make science alive and engaging.

The good facilitator is someone who can create enthusiasm, build trust, and inspire curiosity through their own engagement.

Qualifications and characteristics:

Are/have you:

  • pedagogical skills or experience in dissemination?

  • sense of standing in front of an audience

  • Ability to convey complex things in a simple and exciting way?

  • Competence in science, and especially physics?

  • digital literacy, and an interest in coding and programming?

  • a tidy and structured team player?

  • creative, curious and inventive?

  • self-reliant, adaptable and fearless

  • Are you fluent in both Norwegian and English?

  • class B driving licence? Some travel effort must be required.

    Personal qualities are emphasized.
