ViteMeir looking for a communication hero

Do you want to help create the world's best science lesson? As an educator with us, you'll have a working day where you can help children and young people develop an interest in science and technology. Are you an enthusiastic and playful communicator who puts yourself out there? Then you may well be the person we're looking for.

Form of addition:

Temporary position from April 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025

Work tasks:

As a facilitator, you will be involved in welcoming different groups, from kindergartens to secondary schools and leisure visitors. In addition, you will help to:

  • Implement practical learning programs

  • Visit schools through "ViteMeir on wheels"

  • Develop and hold science shows

  • Participate in other communication activities on ViteMeir such as events and activities

We usually adapt work assignments based on each individual's strengths, so we would like you to write a little about your interests and experience in your application. For example, do you love programming? Do you like creating content for SoMe? Or maybe you're an expert at solving Rubik's cubes? In this job, anything could be relevant.

Qualifications and characteristics:

Are/have you:

  • pedagogical skills or experience in dissemination?

  • a taste for science?

  • practical?

  • a tidy and structured team player?

  • self-reliant, self-taught and fearless?

  • Are you fluent in both Norwegian and English?

  • class B driver's license. Some travel is required for the work.
