Serit Fjordane IT becomes partner and IT supplier

Serit Fjordane IT will supply VR glasses and PC classroom kits to ViteMeir. For the next three years, they will be partners to an annual value of NOK. 30.000

- We at Serit Fjordane IT are proud to call ourselves a partner of ViteMeir. The sketches and plans that were presented to us make us excited about the future of technology. We can see that ViteMeir will be our first meeting with both future employees and customers," says Dagmunn Fauske, CEO of Serit Fjordane IT.

Serit Fjordane IT has three offices in Western Norway and is the largest IT supplier in its region. Since its inception in 1998, it has delivered services with high stability, performance and security. With a local presence in Nordfjord, Sunnfjord and Sogn, they are a natural supplier and partner for ViteMeir.

- We have been working with Serit Fjordane IT since the beginning of this year and are impressed with the service and quality they provide at all levels," says Erlend Fardal Lunde, CEO of ViteMeir.

Serit Fjordane IT is the supplier of a class set of 30 PCs and iPads that ViteMeir will use to communicate with schools and kindergartens both at the science center and through ViteMeir on wheels. Education Manager Åse Neraas is pleased to have a solid IT supplier behind her when quality is the first priority in the delivery:

- "We'll be using the class set at SommarViten, which will be held in the municipalities of Sogndal, Luster, Aurland and Årdal in June and August," she says.

Serit Fjordane IT wishes ViteMeir all the best and looks forward to following the process leading up to the opening, and not least to visiting the knowledge center when it opens in November.

- For many young people, the start of a technological future will begin at ViteMeir. Our industry is one that is exposed to rapid change and is constantly evolving. It's important that children and young people get an early start with technology used in education and that they quickly learn to catch up with developments and see new opportunities that come with the changes," concludes Fauske.
