Flåm AS becomes a partner and will join together ViteMeir developed communication around sustainable tourism

In the period 2021 – 2023, Flåm AS contributed a total of NOK. 550,000 more ViteMeir in the form of annual support and contributions to the development of the theme zone "Sustainable tourism".

- This is an agreement that, as a tourism professional, I am extremely proud of having managed to land. Despite the fact that the tourism industry is in an extremely demanding situation, Flåm AS believes that they think forward-looking and long-term. I am incredibly happy that together we will create information about sustainable tourism, says Erlend Fardal Lunde, day-to-day manager of ViteMeir .

Flåm AS has created a world-class destination in Flåm and for Ingrid Lydvo, director of sustainability and business development at Flåm AS, the agreement with ViteMeir was important to put zero emissions in tourism high on the agenda:

- We work purposefully every day to create sustainable tourism destinations and we set ourselves sky-high targets to reduce our own and our guests' emissions. Along with ViteMeir can we create more interest in tourism as a career path and inspire children and young people to work and develop a future-oriented and sustainable industry.

Temasona sustainable tourism is under production and will be ready for visitors when ViteMeir opens its doors in autumn 2021.
