The landscape of Norway is quite special. Only a few other places in the world have as many high mountains and waterfalls. The high mountains make it easy to produce energy using hydroelectric power plants. That is why most of the energy produced in Norway comes from waterfalls. However, this would not have been possible without the natural cycle of water. You can learn more about this in ViteMeir its own hydroelectric power plant. 

The beautiful landscape of Norway can present extra challenges when it comes to transport and tourism. It takes a lot of energy to drive over high mountains. In the truck simulator on ViteMeir you can train to become an energy-efficient driver. You can also compete to drive an electric ferry between Kaupanger, Aurland and Gudvangen in the shortest possible time. But without electricity, neither an electric ferry nor an electric truck will work. The power grid is crucial for transporting energy where it is needed.
