Inspiring and congratulating

Andreas Wahl makes science fun and understandable for everyone.

Andreas Wahl is a physicist, science educator and program host. Andreas has risked his life for science in Med livet som sats (NRK), strived to enlighten the people through Folkeopplysningen (NRK), written four popular science books, a science textbook (NOVA, CapellenDamm) and won the Norwegian championship in morellsteinspytting four times. Andreas has also toured the country with his science shows, most recently with the performance Elektriks.

Andreas Wahl has been one of many inspirations in the work of planning the ViteMeir He has many good words to share now that the center has been given the go-ahead for construction.

– I've been following behind the scenes, heard about the projects. It's really cool that they're underway, this is going to be exciting, he says in his greeting video to ViteMeir .

Project manager Marianne Jevnaker participated in autumn at the seminar Science Heroes, where Andreas Wahl brought together educators and others to present science a little "outside the box". A science center is not supposed to offer traditional classroom teaching, the focus here is on alternative learning methods within science.

– Very relevant and educational, says Jevnaker, who talks about experiments with taste, lots of pyro, potato cannons in practice and many exciting chemistry exercises. Important inspiration that we will now take with us in the further work on content development at the center.
